Erin Expected To Get Bigger, Wind Field Increasing

Hurricane Erin is already a large hurricane and it is forecast to grow significantly in size as it moves to the north. As Erin grows, so does the wind field, meaning impacts can be felt even farther away from the storm. The center of Erin will pass east of the Bahamas today. Tropical storm conditions are possible as early as late Wednesday across the Outer Banks of North Carolina where tropical storm watches are in effect.
