Invest 93L, the easternmost wave, will likely develop into a tropical depression or tropical storm, potentially by Thursday or Friday. Invest 94L is the wave we are more concerned about as any U.S. impacts are uncertain at this time. This wave will bring gusty winds and heavy rain to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands the next few days. Conditions will become more favorable for development this weekend and a tropical system is likely to form as this disturbance moves toward the Bahamas.
