Imelda Forecast To Become Hurricane

Tropical Depression Nine has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Imelda, according to the latest from the National Hurricane Center. Winds are currently at 40 mph with even higher gusts. Tropical Storm Warnings remain for the Bahamas, while Tropical Storm Watches are in effect for parts of the east coast of Florida. While no landfall is expected at this time for Imelda, heavy rain, coastal flooding and dangerous surf are possible along the Southeast coast. Here’s the latest.
