Tropical Waves Could Become Depressions

The National Hurricane Center is keeping an eye on two tropical waves in the Atlantic in addition to Hurricane Gabrielle. The first tropical wave in the central Atlantic, between the Cabo Verde Islands and the Lesser Antilles, has a better chance of developing into a tropical depression by the middle to end of the week as it moves west-northwest. The second tropical wave located farther west in the Atlantic is expected to bring gusty winds and showers to the Leeward Islands Monday night into Tuesday. Beyond Tuesday, slow development will be possible. The next names on the list are Humberto and Imelda. Watch this video for the latest update.
