More Severe Weather, Flooding Possible For Plains, Midwest | Weather.com

Another day, another round of severe weather expected across the Plains and Midwest. Storms will begin to fire up late Thursday afternoon/evening continuing overnight into Friday morning. Damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes will all be possible in places like Omaha, Lincoln and Des Moines. Heavy rain could also lead to flash flooding as storms keep developing over the same locations. The severe threat shifts slightly to the southeast Friday, but places like Des Moines and Omaha are still at risk along with Kansas City.
