Scattered severe storms will be possible across the Midwest, Plains and parts of the Great Basin Friday afternoon into Friday night. Damaging winds will be the main threat, but large hail and isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out in places like Fargo, Grand Forks and parts of Northern Minnesota. Heavy rain could also lead to flash flooding, so please use caution if traveling. The severe threat continues in some of the same areas on Saturday with the best chance for severe storms across parts of Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska and the Dakotas.
