After morning rain, scattered strong to severe storms will be possible from the Northeast to the mid-Atlantic as a cold front moves east. Damaging wind gusts will be the main threat, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out along the I-95 corridor from New York, Philadelphia down to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. Heavy rain could also lead to flooding with up to 4 inches possible in some locations.
