The severe weather threat will shift east Friday to include the Southeast and mid-Atlantic. Damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes will all be possible as a line of storms moves east Friday afternoon into Friday night. Heavy downpours could also lead to localized flooding, especially where the ground is already saturated due to recent heavy rain.
