Coastline Mystery Deepens As Tar Balls Litter Florida Shores

Strange black tar balls have come ashore in Florida, from Port Everglades to Palm Beach, forcing some beach closures as the oily slicks spread through the water and onto the sand. The U.S. Coast Guard launched an investigation to track the source of the contamination.
