Tropical Depression Triggers Flood Rescues In North Carolina

Flash flooding from the remnants of Tropical Storm Chantal turned Chapel Hill, North Carolina into a disaster zone, with streets underwater and more than 50 emergency water rescues. Firefighters used inflatable boats to reach stranded residents as heavy rain, downed trees and rising floodwaters forced urgent evacuations across the area.
