Late Week Severe Risk Targets Plains, Midwest Again

After a quiet start to the week, the severe weather threat will ramp up across the Plains and Midwest Thursday, shifting east on Friday to include the Mississippi Valley. A level 2 out of 5 threat is in place for places like Kansas City, Omaha, Minneapolis, Wichita and Des Moines on Thursday. Damaging winds, very large hail and a few tornadoes will be possible. Friday’s threat shifts east targeting Dallas, Little Rock, Memphis and Shreveport. Watch this for the latest update.
