Ingredients are in place for a potent severe weather outbreak in the Ohio and Mississippi valleys. Several strong (EF2+) and long-track tornadoes are possible late Wednesday into overnight from northern Louisiana to Indiana and western Ohio, including the cities of Shreveport, Little Rock, Louisville, Memphis, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati. This outbreak is being driven by a slow-moving system that will linger as it tracks eastward. Stay alert and have a plan in place.
