Severe thunderstorms capable of strong EF2 or greater tornadoes, wind gusts to hurricane force and large hail are possible through Tuesday night and Wednesday. Storms move from Memphis, Tennessee, through New Orleans, Louisiana and even Atlanta, Georgia before they expand into the East from Washington, D.C., Raleigh, North Carolina and even Charleston, South Carolina.
