Severe Storms, Hail, Wind Threat For First Week Of May

May is statistically the most active month for severe weather, and this week is no exception. While the threat is relatively low for the Southern Plains, mid-Mississippi Valley and Deep South (including Dallas, Little Rock and Memphis) on Tuesday and Wednesday, it only takes one storm to cause significant damage. A flood threat is also in place this week thanks to a cold front encountering a moist air mass from the Gulf.
