Wednesday’s severe weather threat shifts slightly southeast, but still targets places from Tennessee to Texas. Areas most at risk include Birmingham, Jackson, Shreveport and Waco. Hail larger than golf balls, damaging winds and a few tornadoes, potentially strong, will all be possible late Wednesday into Wednesday night. Heavy rain could also lead to flash flooding.
