A tornado was confirmed on live television Sunday evening in Linn County, Kansas, hitting a rural area near the Kansas-Missouri state line, south of Kansas City. A helicopter from KMBC-TV took to the skies and captured these incredible images of the twister in progress about 5:45 p.m. local time, according to the station's website. The tornado was spotted near Prescott, Kansas, but damage was limited to farm structures and trees, KMBC reported.
