System To Bring Much Needed Mountain Snow To Parts Of West

Much of the West has been enduring above-average temperatures and below-average snowfall, which has really impacted the snowpack across the West. Fortunately, the pattern that has remained over the West most of the winter will shift, bringing some rain and much needed mountain snowfall to the West. Rainfall of 1-3 inches is possible across the lower elevations. Fortunately, pockets of snowfall across the highest elevations could exceed 5 inches. Even Salt Lake City, which has only seen 0.1 inches of snowfall this season, could see some of the white stuff. Watch for more.
