For those of you in the Southeast, Winter Storm Fern could bring a “catastrophic” accumulation of ice to parts of the region. Long-duration power outages, extensive tree damage and dangerous to impossible travel are all on the table. Places like Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Greenville, Asheville, Atlanta and Jackson should all be on alert.
