Snow, Ice Stacking Up In Deep South

January 25, 2026

Winter Storm Fern is bringing heavy snow and widespread icing to the Deep South. Snow accumulations have already topped 5 inches in parts of Arkansas. High ice accumulations are developing across the South, including Shreveport and Little Rock. Tree damage and power outages are likely, and travel is becoming extremely difficult to impossible this weekend. Click here for your latest snow and ice forecasts.
