Appalachian Trail Group Turns 100 As Helene Recovery Goes On

Supporters of the Appalachian Trail ,or AT, hit an important milestone Monday as the Appalachian Trail Conservancy turns 100 years old. The anniversary comes while cleanup from Hurricane Helene led by the group is ongoing, and parts of the trail look decidedly different this year. We talked to Sandi Marra, president and CEO of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, about the state of things today.
