There are two different rings of fire: One linked to storms and heat domes and another linked to volcanoes. Severe storms can often form around the edges of heat domes, traveling around them along the clockwise motion of the high-pressure system. And the ring of fire in the Pacific is a ring of volcanoes that form along tectonic plates. While different, there are some interesting similarities. Meteorologist Rob Shackelford breaks it down.
