Hurricane Erin will shoot the gap between Bermuda and the Carolinas next week, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be impacts along the U.S. East Coast. The threat of rip currents will be high as Erin passes Florida to Massachusetts and beyond. Some coastal flooding is also possible in cities like Jacksonville, Charleston and Norfolk.
