Many of the following county roads begin to flood around this level...east of SR 57 include CR 750N...CR 600N and CR 1000E. Pike county road subject to flooding west of SR 57 include...CR 250 W...CR 400W...CR 675N...CR 700 N...CR 1000w...CR 900W...CR 700W and CR 775W. White River at Hazleton and at Petersburg. .Lowland flooding continues on the White River at Petersburg and Hazleton in southwest Indiana. Flooding is expected to end Friday afternoon at Petersburg, and by late morning Monday at Hazleton. Very little precipitation, above normal temperatures, and plenty of sunshine over the next seven days will promote drying of soils and falling river levels. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/ind. Pottsville Road...North C Street on river side of railroad tracks and Catt Street near U.S. Highway 41 are flooded. Water is near or starting on Giro Road in the vicinity of submerged Pottsville Road. Oil stripped fields flood. Flood gates must be installed at Hazleton.
