WHERE...Portions of central and west central Missouri, including the following counties, in central Missouri, Cooper, Pettis and Saline. In west central Missouri, Henry, Johnson and Lafayette. WHEN...Until 215 PM CDT Thursday. IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 511 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rainfall had moved east of the warned area. Flooding is ongoing due to the runoff from earlier heavy rainfall overnight. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... In north central Missouri, Carroll, Chariton, Linn, Macon and Randolph. WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 620 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
