The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Sunday morning through Monday evening. AFFECTED AREA...The western Nebraska panhandle, including fire weather zones, 434, 435, 436, 437. WIND...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph mainly between 10AM and 8PM each day. HUMIDITY...Minimums of 8 to 15 percent during the afternoon, maximums of 35 to 50 percent in the early morning. IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur.
