IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, the Snohomish River will cause minor flooding of lowlands not protected by levees and on the Old Snohomish-Monroe highway. A stage of 25 feet on the Snohomish River corresponds to a Phase 2 in the Snohomish County flood program. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM PDT Thursday the stage was 26.3 feet. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:00 AM PDT Thursday was 26.3 feet. - Forecast...The river will crest between 26.5 and 26.9 feet this morning. The river will begin receding this afternoon and could briefly fall below flood stage Friday afternoon and evening before rising back above flood stage Friday night. IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, the Snohomish River will cause minor flooding of low pasture lands and several roads near the river. A stage of 15 feet at this location corresponds to Phase 2 in the Snohomish County Flood Warning System. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM PDT Wednesday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 15.4 feet by early Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage by Thursday afternoon, reaching its lowest point at 12.8 feet Friday afternoon.
