WHERE...The coastal waters from Oregon Inlet to Surf City. WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT this morning. IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong, post-frontal winds will continue for several more hours early this morning. Elevated seas will last through the day and into this evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for hazardous conditions.
