...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING... WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Bexar, Blanco, Burnet, Comal, Gillespie, Hays, Kendall, Travis and Williamson. WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT. IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 452 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen from an earlier round of heavy rain. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area from another round of heavy rain. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Antonio, Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Boerne, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Comfort, Blanco, Round Mountain, Tanglewood Forest, Anderson Mill, Leander, Canyon Lake, Lakeway, Fair Oaks Ranch, Lago Vista, Bee Cave and Bulverde. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
